Prof. Ottar Laurits Osen

Prof. OTTAR L. OSEN graduated with MSc in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1991 (NTH, now the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)). He is the head of R& D at ICD Software AS and an associate professor at NTNU Norway. In addition to 13 years in academia he has worked for 15 years as an consultant in the maritime and offshore industry both in Norway and internationally. He has taken part in the engineering phase on several of the large offshore projects on the Norwegian continental shelf. He has broad experience in subsea control systems and SCADA systems in general. His research interests belong to the fields of artificial intelligence, cybernetics, instrumentation, real-time systems, industrial control systems, mechatronics, and modelling and simulation.

Prof. Robin T. Bye

Dr. Robin is a professor in automation and intelligent systems, an IEEE Senior Member, and the head of the Cyber-Physical Systems Lab at NTNU, Ålesund, Norway. At the Department of ICT and Natural Sciences, Dr. Robin is an elected scientific staff member of the leader group and has headed the bachelor program in automation engineering since the summer of 2020. Dr. Robin's teaching activities include delivering engineering courses in the BSc Automation & Intelligent Systems and MSc Simulation & Visualization programs, as well as supervising BSc, MSc, PhD, and postdoc projects. Additionally, Dr. Robin develops and offers courses for lifelong learning. Dr. Robin's research interests span the broad areas of cybernetics, artificial intelligence, neuroengineering, and education. As an affiliated scientist at NTNU AMOS (SFF), a Centre of Excellence funded by the Research Council of Norway, Dr. Robin is developing new methods for automated and autonomous systems at sea, including path planning and collision avoidance algorithms for ASVs. Dr. Robin is also investigating biomechanical robotics and machine learning for MR image segmentation for modeling and simulation of human joints and tissue. Dr. Robin's educational research focuses on student-active learning methodologies and digital tools for teaching, learning, and assessment. Dr. Robin serves as a topic editor for the Journal of Marine Science and Engineering, a regular peer reviewer for journals and conferences, and a scientific expert both nationally and internationally. This includes participation in NOKUT study program approvals, evaluation of academic positions, PhD candidates, MSc/BSc projects, and involvement in conference boards and chair duties.

Prof. Kacper Pluta

Université Gustave Eiffel (ESIEE Paris), France

Kacper Pluta obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Paris-Est, France in 2017 after defending his dissertation entitled: Rigid Motions on Discrete Spaces. Since September 2023, Kacper is an Enseignant-Chercheur (Associate Professor) at ESIEE Paris, Université Gustave Eiffel, France. Before taking the position at Univeristé Gustave Eiffel, he worked as a research engineer on the H2020 BIM2TWIN Project at Inria, Sophia-AntiPolis, France, and after finishing his Ph.D. was a postdoctoral fellow at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Kacper's work spans topics from theoretical discrete geometry to 3D geometry processing applied to architecture and civil engineering. He also participated in studies related to geoengineering with a focus on natural hazards such as landslides, and studies related to medical imaging.

Dr. Jagdish Chand Bansal

Dr. Jagdish Chand Bansal is an Associate Professor (Senior Grade) at South Asian University New Delhi and a visiting professor at Maths and Computer Science, Liverpool Hope University UK. He also holds a visiting professorship at NIT Goa, India. Dr. Bansal obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIT Roorkee. Before joining SAU New Delhi, he worked as an Assistant Professor at ABV- Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior and BITS Pilani. His Primary area of interest is Swarm Intelligence and Nature Inspired Optimization Techniques. Recently, he proposed a fission-fusion social structure based optimization algorithm, Spider Monkey Optimization (SMO), which is being applied to various problems in the engineering domain. He has published over 70 research papers in various international journals/conferences. He is the Section Editor (editor-in-chief) of the journal MethodsX published by Elsevier. He is the series editor of the four Springer book series AIS, SADIC, ISTC and SST published by Springer. He is also the Associate Editor of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (EAAI) and ARRAY published by Elsevier. He is the general secretary of the Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS). He has also received Gold Medal at UG and PG levels.

Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Tripathi

Prof. Rajeev Tripathi completed his B.Tech. in 1986, M.Tech. in 1992 and Ph.D. in 1998 from the University of Allahabad. He joined MNNIT Allahabad as a faculty member in 1988 and served as Director of the Institute from 7th October 2016 to 6th Feb 2022. He was a faculty member at the University of The West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad (WI) from 2002 to 2004. He was a Visiting Faculty at the School of Engineering Liverpool John Moores University U.K. in the year 1998 and 1999. Besides vast teaching and research experience of around 35 years, he also has vast administrative experience at MNNIT Allahabad. He worked as Chairman CSAB and C0-Chirman of JoSAA in 2020 for all India admissions in IITs NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs. He was Coordinator of, the Quality Improvement Program (QIP) from 2005 to 2016, Chairman, Senate Post Graduate Committee from 2005 to 2009, Dean, Academic Affairs from 2009 to 2011, Head, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering from 2011 to 2013, and Professor in charge, Training and Placement from 2011 to 2016. He has also worked as BoM member of Delhi Technical University, MMMUT Gorakhpur and many other institutions. Prof. Tripathi has made pioneering research contributions and has solved several open problems. He has published more than 110 papers in international journals of repute(SCI) and 100 papers in conferences of repute and supervised 24 Ph.D. students. He has 03 patents. He has worked closely with the Government as well as industry on various problems and has successfully led and completed 11 research projects worth more than Rs 13 Crs. at national and international levels. Important among them include a sponsored project by Govt. of India and the British Govt. under the Indo-UK Science and Technology Research Fund and a project sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. He is a well-known teacher and mentor who has not only graduated a large number of students and developed well-appreciated teaching modules but has also motivated and mentored many student innovation and entrepreneurial activities which have achieved unique successes. His has more than 2500 citations with I10 index of 55. Prof. Tripathi has pioneered personnel and institute-level research collaboration with foreign universities and visited several countries in this regard. Important among them include Liverpool John Moore University, Liverpool, U.K., Barbados campus of the University of West Indies, Moncton New Brunswick, Canada, University of Waterloo (UoW), Waterloo, Canada, Spain, USA, etc., he has also taught for a couple of years in The University of The West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad (WI). Prof. Tripathi worked as a reviewer of many international journals including IEEE Communication Letters, Adhoc Networks, Elsevier, Wireless Personal Communication Springer, International Journal of Electronics, Taylor and Francis, IETE Journal of Research, Taylor and Francis and West Indian Journal of Engineering. He has organized many international conferences in the capacity of conference chair and co-chair and served as a program committee of several international conferences of repute in the area of wireless communication and networking. Prof. Tripathi is a Senior member of IEEE, USA, a Life Fellow of the Institution of Electronics &Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), India, a Life Member of the Institution of Engineers (IE), India, Life Member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE), India and Life Member of Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), India.

Dr. Sumegh Shrikant Tharewal

He worked as an Assistant Professor at Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research(SICSR), Symbiosis International (Deemed) University(SIU), Pune, India. he was Program Head of M.Sc. Blockchain Technology at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune, India, he completed his PhD from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India in the Department of Computer Science, and Information Technology. He is having 13+ years of experience in Research and academics. He worked with different reputed organizations like Symbiosis, MIT, Pune, Manipal University Jaipur, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Government Institute of Forensic Science, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.His research interests include Blockchain Technology, Biometrics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Pattern Recognition, and Image Processing. Dr. Valliappan Raju

Professor Valliappan Raju specializes in research methodology and spearheads Research division at Perdana University, Malaysia. In his 20+ years of experience, he has served over 18 years in Higher Education institutions in Botswana, India and Malaysia. He holds visiting positions in the Czech Republic, Thailand and Germany. As per ResearchGate statistics, he has published 256 manuscripts, the majority in FinTech discipline indexed in Scopus, SSCI, EI indexed journals. Dr. Mehul Mahrishi

Azween Abdullah is a professional development alumnus of Stanford University and MIT. Dr. Vijander Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of ICT and Natural Sciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology-NTNU, Norway. Prof. Arun Sharma

Prof. Arun Sharma is Professor in Department of Information Technology Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Delhi. He completed his PhD Degree from Thapar University in 2009. He has a teaching experience of more than 27 years. His research interests include Machine Learning, Data Science and Software Engineering. Prof. Dhaka brings over 18 years of extensive experience in both academia and industry. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, in 2010. Throughout his career, Prof. Dhaka has demonstrated exceptional administrative and research capabilities, holding prominent positions such as Head of Department (HOD), Dean of Academics, and Principal before joining the Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) community in 2016. In 2017, he became the founding Head of the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering (CCE) at MUJ, where he successfully expanded the department from 73 students and 6 faculty members to over 1,000 students and 36 faculty members. His leadership was further recognized in 2019 when he was entrusted with the additional role of Director of E-Cell, where he energized the university's entrepreneurial ecosystem through various initiatives. Prof. Dhaka's notable achievements include being named the Best Research Performer at MUJ in 2021, securing a prestigious SERB-DST Research Project valued at Rs. 72 lakhs, guiding students to win awards at both national and international levels, leading a consultancy project with Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) under the Government of India, and establishing numerous incubation MOUs and industry collaborations. His research interests encompass Medical Imaging, Pattern Recognition, and the applications of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Vision. Prof. Dhaka has published over 100 research papers in SCI/SCOPUS indexed journals. He has supervised 14 PhD theses and 11 M.Tech dissertations, and is currently guiding 7 PhD candidates.
